Fortunato Domenico Mustica

Passed away peacefully at 94 years old at 5am on July 8 at Cobram District Hospital. He leaves behind his loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and two brothers. Fortunato was born on August 28, 1928 in Molochio, Reggio Calabria, Italia. Later, he and his wife, Giuseppina migrated to Cobram, Victoria in 1966 and formed lifelong bonds within the local Italian community. Fortunato was an incredibly intelligent, selfless and devoted man who favoured family above all else. His love of his garden led him to spend many years working in the backyard, tinkering with tools and growing countless fruit and vegetables for his family and friends. While we are devastated to lose the head of our family, we take solace in knowing he’s now reunited with his parents, brothers and most importantly beloved Moglie Giuseppina. May you rest in eternal peace with God. Caro Papa, Nonno Mico, ti vogliamo bene. We love you. Riposo in Pace.

Funeral Notice – A requiem mass for the repose of the soul of the late Fortunato Domenico Mustica will be offered at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, William Street, Cobram commencing at 11:00 am on Saturday July 15, 2023. After which the cortege will leave for the Cobram Cemetery (Mausoleum).
